Nonprofit agency in Clinton Township that provides services to people with Developmental Disabilities, looking to fill a full time 40 hour per week Front Desk/ HR Assistant / Recruiting position. Position hours are 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday with 1/2 lunch break. This is an important role in this average sized business setting. Some HR knowledge with recruiting experience a must, front desk experience preferred .

The perfect candidate will understand that they are the "first impression" for our business whether that impression is over the phone or in person. We are looking for someone who is a people person, and is willing to go the extra mile with hiring new caregivers. Recruitment is the main focus of this position with Front desk responsibilities.

This position requires great phone etiquette and a friendly, professional personality. We are in need of someone who is somewhat outgoing, hardworking, detail oriented, and great at multi tasking under time restraints. The ideal candidate will be interested in long term employment, will be flexible with changing work focus as needed, can work with frequent interruptions, will take initiative in knowing our business inside and out, will have no problem working independently and quickly, and are willing to learn.

This is a supportive/ assistant position that is expected to help ALL office employees with any tasks needed. This is a great starting position for those who are going to school for HR, Business, or any related field.

JOB DUTIES:
Front Desk duties include but are not limited to answering phones, greeting visitors and potential employees, sorting mail, data entry, correspondence, answering or redirecting voicemails, stocking supplies, maintaining a clean well organized office, running errands, purging old records, making copies and more. This position also takes tasks on as they become needed.

Job duties of this position regarding HR function include accepting employment applications, conducting background checks, conducting interviews, answering employment questions, on boarding, DA meetings, employment verification, calling references, and helping with correspondence. Maintaining complete confidentiality of all aspects of the business and HR.

Hiring requirements include:
- 18 years or older
- High school diploma/GED or higher,
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
- HR and Front Desk experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
