Job description:

The Front Desk Officer will serve as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and diplomats, providing a welcoming, professional, and culturally sensitive experience. This role involves managing front-desk operations, handling incoming communications, and ensuring smooth coordination between patients and the clinical team. The ideal candidate will maintain high standards of service while ensuring confidentiality, efficiency, and courtesy at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome all patients, visitors, and diplomats in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Manage patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area.
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling and confirmations.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Provide information about clinic services, timings, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist patients and diplomats in navigating services with discretion and cultural sensitivity.
  • Manage feedback, complaints, and service issues, escalating where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update the database as required.
  • Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Manage courier, document handling, and other clerical tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality protocols and clinic policies.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in front-desk or customer service roles, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with both local and international clients.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work under pressure.
  • Well-groomed, professional appearance with a positive attitude.

Other Requirements

  • Understanding of cross-cultural etiquette and diplomatic protocols.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, or extended hours when required.
  • Commitment to patient privacy and ethical service delivery.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
