Front Desk Officer (US-Based Patient Support – Call Handling)

As a Front Desk Officer for our US-based project, you will be responsible for handling patient inquiries and providing professional support over calls and digital communication channels.

  • Answer incoming calls from patients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Respond to patient inquiries regarding services, appointments, and general information
  • Schedule, reschedule, and manage patient appointments accurately
  • Maintain and update patient records in the system
  • Handle email correspondence and follow up with patients when required
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve patient concerns
  • Ensure high-quality customer service and patient satisfaction
  • Manage call logs and maintain proper documentation
  • Handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information (HIPAA compliance awareness is a plus)

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Intermediate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong communication skills in English (mandatory)
  • Good spoken English with a neutral or clear accent (preferred for US calls)
  • Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Email handling)
  • Professional attitude with a customer-focused approach
  • Good time management and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to handle calls patiently and efficiently

Preferred Experience

  • 1 year of experience in call center, reception, or customer service roles
  • Experience in handling international (especially US-based) customers is a plus
  • Familiarity with healthcare or patient support services is an advantage
