Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Patient Handling:

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
  • Manage appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling
  • Handle incoming calls and respond to inquiries
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other staff for smooth patient flow

Billing & Accounts Support:

  • Prepare invoices and process patient payments (cash/card/online)
  • Maintain daily collection reports
  • Handle insurance documentation and basic claims processing (if applicable)
  • Support basic bookkeeping and accounts-related tasks
  • Maintain petty cash records and assist with reconciliation

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain front desk cleanliness and organization
  • Manage correspondence (emails, courier, documents)
  • Ensure compliance with clinic policies and confidentiality standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a receptionist, preferably in a medical centre or clinic
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and billing procedures
  • Familiarity with MS Office and clinic management software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
