As the first point of contact and the welcoming face of our practice, our Receptionist plays a vital role in setting a positive, caring tone for every patient experience. You will create lasting first impressions through genuine warmth, attentiveness, and exceptional customer service, helping patients feel valued, heard, and supported from the moment they arrive or call.

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized individual to join our team full-time and help uphold our commitment to inspiring better health for our community.

Schedule
Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
(Full-time, in-person; 8-hour shifts )

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office, creating exceptional first impressions with warmth and genuine care
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office while reflecting our holistic, root-cause philosophy focused on true wellness
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls with empathy, patience, and outstanding customer service
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures about our integrative wellness services)
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing

Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role (healthcare experience is a plus)
  • A true love for helping assisting people, answering questions and creating a welcoming environment
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Customer service attitude with a pleasant, approachable personality to make every patient feel cared for and respected
  • High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
