S-E-A is adding a Front Desk Receptionist with some Administrative Assistant responsibilities to our busy team! This is an in-office opportunity. This role will sit at the front desk with another individual in S-E-A's state-of-the-art facility. We are a national forensic engineering firm, with over 56 years of industry knowledge and experience. This opportunity is open due to a retirement. We are seeking a warm, welcoming professional with strong technology skills and willingness to assist others as needed.

Essential Job FunctionsResponsibilities:

Acts as brand ambassador for S-E-A both internally and externally

Serves as first point of contract to create a warm and courteous welcome for visitors, staff, and callers

Greet all visitors and staff courteously, determines their needs, and directs them to the proper person and/or office

Assist with in-person events (internal and external)

Daily receptionist and phone attendant responsibilities, including relaying incoming and interoffice calls on a Teams system

Handles incoming and outgoing tracking/updating mail and packages

Provides administrative support for various engineers
-
Responsible for document proofreading and letter composition

Uploads images and other documents to electronic files
-
Handles verbal and written client communications
-
Maintains office files and databases
-
Spreadsheet creation, data entry and manipulation
-
Manages meeting and lab exam scheduling

Obtains informationcompiles records to enter requests for conflict searches

Prepares written summaries and documentation of legal documents and other case-related materials

Assists other departments as requested or assigned

Position Requirements:

Associate's degree preferred but commensurate experience is considered

High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel; PowerPoint) and Outlook

A minimum of three (3) years of professional office experience in a client-facing role

Excellent writing skills and proofreading skills

Strong attention to detail
