Skyline Mountain is seeking a front desk receptionist! We are seeking someone who is proactive, can think quick on their feet, and assists the Admin team with daily duties! Ideal candidate is a people person and detail oriented.

SCHEDULE: MONDAY-FRIDAY 830AM-530PM

Summary: The administrative assistant is directly responsible for greeting visitors, monitoring the telephones, typing, filing, copying, computer duties, clerical support functions, and other job duties assigned by the Business Office Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Maintains continuous coverage of front desk during assigned times;

2. Schedules coverage of front desk by other community staff for lunch and breaks;

3. Answers all incoming telephone calls and directs calls to appropriate staff;

4. Takes telephone messages for those staff members unable to answer incoming calls;

5. Uses computer and various programs such as MS Office and Google Drive;

6. Greets all visitors and assists them as needed;

7. Maintains resident sign-in and sign-out logs;

8. Monitors resident activity and alerts staff when assistance is necessary to assure resident safety;

9. Monitors door alarms system in accordance to community policy and procedure;

10. Maintains and requests lists for maintenance, dietary and nursing in appropriate manner;

11. Maintains inventory control system of all office supply and ensures security of equipment within the business office;

12. Maintains familiarity with fire and safety procedures detailed in the fire and disaster plan and be able to assist in transferring residents to a safe location in the event of an emergency;

13. Publishes Welcome Binder and print Door Plates for new Residents

14. Performs clerical work including, but not limited to, typing, copying, filing, mailing, and other light office work as assigned by the Business Office Manager or Administrator;

15. Assures that lobby area reception and entry are kept clean, neat, and orderly;

16. Notifies appropriate staff of unsafe situations within the building or grounds;

17. Performs other tasks as assigned by the any member of management;

18. Orients and trains any relief desk coverage;

19. Admin Asst to leadership team

Job Qualifications:

1. Ability to read, write and speak English fluently;

2. Ability to speak clearly on the telephone and maintain pleasant presence and tone of voice while interacting with visitors, residents or staff;

3. Ability to type 40-45 WPM and operate computer system;

4. Is competent in using MS Office, Google Drive, and other various computer programs and knows how to navigate the internet and troubleshoot minor computer issues

5. Maintains acceptable attendance record; notifies supervisor if late or unable to work, is able to work flexible hours to meet the requirement of the job;

6. Requires minimal supervision. Is a self-starter;

7. Is accurate, dependable, neat and thorough in assigned tasks;

8. Organizes and utilizes time appropriately; sets priorities to accomplish assigned tasks;

9. Displays mature behavior and attitude in speech and action; demonstrates consistently pleasant demeanor, tone of voice, supports the philosophy and approach to care used by the community;

10. Keeps resident information confidential; respects resident rights; respects privacy and right to self-determination of residents;

11. Interacts in a professional manner with the public, residents and staff; works cooperatively with administration and displays willingness to assist co-workers;

12. Abides by established policies and procedures of the community. Looks for ways to improve community functioning; keeps community information confidential;

13. Keeps work area neat and clean; helps maintain the appearance of community;

14. Ability and willingness to learn quickly.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
