We are a small but thriving mental health practice that provides counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. We are currently seeking a full-time, entry level front office receptionist to join our team! An ideal candidate will be professional, friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented in order to assist with our daily office operations. Our office works on a varying schedule, as most of our clinicians are part-time and manage their own schedules. However, we run our office on a regular 9 to 5, M-F schedule, requiring a receptionist from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Experience in a medical or mental health office is a plus, but not required. We are happy to train the right person. This is a Full-time position with the potential for growth and increased pay through increased responsibilities over time.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Corresponding with clients/potential clients via email, phone, and EHR program.
- Management of clients through EHR program: Scheduling, private pay billing, client file set up, payment processing, payment collection, verification of insurance benefits.
- Management of physical office cleanliness and organization.
- Correspond and collaborate with Providers in the office.
- Correspond and collaborate with Billing department.
- Welcome face to face clients at front desk.
- Additional office work such as data entry, physical filing, electronic organization, etc.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a positive, energetic, friendly, and flexible personality.
- You must have a High School Degree or equivalent or more.
- Background working in medical or mental health office a plus.
- Experience working with EHR programs a plus.
- Experience with verification of insurance benefits a plus.
- Understanding of insurance verbiage a plus.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
