```Duties```
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or fees
- Maintain patient records and update medical history as needed
- Assist with medical procedures, including taking vital signs and preparing examination rooms
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information to patients
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including faxes and emails
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
```Experience```
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or medical assistant preferred
- Familiarity with pain or medical office procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems such as EclinicalWorks
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
