Front Desk Receptionist

Position Overview
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in creating a positive first impression. You will welcome patients, staff, and vendors with professionalism and care. Main Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner.
- Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars.
- Operate the register to process patient services or supplements.
- Ensure accurate data entry into the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Keep front desk operations organized and efficient.
Qualifications
- For strong consideration, 1-2 years of customer service or front desk experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Proficiency with data entry and EMR systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Detailed List of Daily Functions
- Greets and welcomes patients by directing them to the appropriate person or helping them locate health care supplements.
- Responds to inquiries, screens, and transfers phone calls to employees, ensuring courteous and accurate communication.
- Responds to customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing information or redirecting as necessary.
- Performs general clerical duties, including filing, copying, and routine tasks or special projects.
- Maintains a clean and organized reception area to ensure a positive first impression for visitors.
- Uses standard office equipment regularly, such as copiers, fax machines, and computers.
- Oversees front desk operations, handles inquiries, and provides administrative support to ensure an efficient and organized work environment.
- Manages scheduling tasks, including setting appointments and coordinating meetings, as needed.
- Assists with special projects or performs other duties as assigned.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
- Demonstrates the ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy standards.
