Front Desk Receptionist/Office Assistant

We are expanding our team and looking for more team members to join our group in Jessup office.

Our company is seeking a detail-oriented, professional, and self-motivated Office Receptionist to support our office personnel. This role involves working closely with your supervisor and office management to handle clerical duties, organize meetings, coordinate schedules, and provide backup support for office management functions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage front desk operations (opening and closing the office), including greeting visitors, checking in/out guests, maintaining a welcoming lobby area, performing end-of-the-day inspections, and preparing tea/coffee.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, preparing documents, filing invoices for payment, and sending daily, weekly, and monthly team reminders.
  • Organize and coordinate office events, appointments, and meetings.
  • Track office supplies, perform weekly cycle counts, update inventory databases, and place orders as needed.
  • Assist with light bookkeeping tasks, including invoicing, monitoring accounts receivable, and budget tracking.
  • Maintain and organize office files on Drive, including customer, vendor, and operational records.
  • Assign and participate in the team’s weekly cleaning duties to keep the office tidy.
  • Receive, safeguard, and distribute office mail and packages.
  • Perform various data entry tasks, including product spreadsheets, quotes, presentations, and newsletters.
  • Process timesheets and manage time-off requests.
  • Complete other relevant duties as assigned by management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
