Front Desk Staff

Position Summary

The Front Desk Staff member plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patients and clinical teams. This position involves patient check-in and registration, insurance verification, surgical scheduling coordination, and general administrative support to maintain the daily flow of the center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients in a courteous, professional manner.
  • Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and obtain pre-authorizations as needed.
  • Build and maintain accurate patient charts and electronic records.
  • Conduct pre-admission and pre-operative phone calls with patients.
  • Coordinate surgical schedules with the clinical coordinator, physicians, and doctors’ offices.
  • Communicate with patients, physicians, and staff to ensure accurate scheduling and documentation.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, route messages, and respond to inquiries promptly.
  • Organize and maintain fax communications, including routing and filing documents appropriately.
  • Assist with front office administrative duties as assigned to support the overall operations of the center.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
