Windsor Athletic Club is a brand new 72,000 sq ft full-service fitness/athletic facility next to the beautiful Lake Windsor Country Club. WAC will feature well-equipped 24-7 strength and cardio areas w/ locker room/shower access, a 5-lane lap pool, 3 group exercise studios for live and virtual classes, 3 full size basketball courts that will also include volleyball and pickleball, an indoor turf field for soccer, flag football, etc., a 3-lane indoor track, infrared saunas, whirlpool, snack/bar area, golf simulators and a childcare area.We're looking to build a talented team of front desk staff who are ready to dig in and build something great. 1. Previous customer service experience and communication skills: The ability to interact with members, staff, and vendors daily. Being able to communicate clearly and effectively.
2. Administrative skills: such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling payments.3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
4. Fitness knowledge is a plus.
5. Computer skills: Proficiency with computer systems and software, such as scheduling programs and point-of-sale systems. Able to quickly learn new software programs will also be beneficial.
CPR/First Aid/AED Certified (staff training will be provided annually)
Core Responsibilities:
1. First point of contact for members. Greeting and welcome members and guests as they enter the athletic center.
2. Provide information about membership options, classes, and facilities.
3. Answer questions about WAC app.
4. Assist members with check-in, registration, and membership inquiries.
5. Handle phone calls and in-person inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
6. Process payments for memberships, classes, and other services.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
8. Monitor access to the athletic center and ensure only authorized individuals enter.
9. Handle member complaints or issues in a timely and effective manner.
10. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and positive member experience.
11.Collect, wash, dry and fold towels.
12. Open or closing procedures depending on the shift.
Overall, an athletic center front desk job requires a friendly and welcoming demeanor, strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks efficiently. It is important for front desk staff to create a positive and welcoming environment for members and guests and contribute to the overall success of the athletic center. Job Type: Part-time (Must be 17 years or older to apply) Benefits:
Schedule: Weekdays 4:15 pm - 9:15 pm
Saturday and/or Sunday 4:00 pm – 9:15 pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
