Role Purpose

M venpick Hotel Dubai is looking for a Front Desk Supervisor to lead guest services and front office operations with professionalism and warmth. Reporting to the Front Desk Manager or Night Manager, you will oversee the check-in process, supervise team performance, manage guest inquiries, and ensure operational excellence. This full-time role is ideal for hospitality professionals who are passionate about guest satisfaction and team coordination.

Main Responsibilities

* Supervise front desk operations, ensuring smooth check-ins, check-outs, and guest interactions
* Allocate rooms, update guest profiles, and handle special requests and VIP arrivals
* Resolve guest complaints with a helpful, calm, and professional approach
* Monitor and support team performance through on-the-job coaching and daily briefings
* Ensure cashiering tasks, night audit entries, and key control procedures are completed accurately
* Maintain up-to-date shift reports, logbooks, and issue tracking
* Collaborate with housekeeping, F&B, and other departments for efficient guest service delivery
* Ensure guest directory information, event schedules, and daily briefings are current and shared across shifts
* Practice and promote upselling techniques during guest interactions
* Maintain grooming and presentation standards while supporting brand values and core behavior
* Be prepared for emergencies by following fire safety, health, and hygiene protocols
* Participate in training programs and encourage knowledge sharing within the team
* Carry out other duties as assigned by management to ensure smooth hotel operations

Candidate Requirements

* Diploma in Hotel Management or related hospitality education
* Prior experience as a hotel receptionist or front desk agent; supervisory experience preferred
* Familiarity with Opera PMS and hotel front office systems
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Fluent in English; additional languages such as Arabic, Chinese, German, or French are a plus
* Positive attitude, professional appearance, and ability to handle pressure
* Detail-oriented and organized with a proactive approach to guest service
