Front End Construction Associate 3-5 PQE Dubai /Abu Dhabi

Growth in complex infrastructure and development mandates has created an opportunity for a technically strong construction lawyer to join an established Construction & Infrastructure team based in the UAE.

The role is focused on front end construction work across major projects throughout the GCC, spanning infrastructure, power, healthcare, commercial and leisure developments. The team advises a broad mix of developers, contractors, government entities and public bodies on strategically significant projects shaping the region's built environment.

The successful candidate will have approximately 3-5 years' post qualification experience, on a UK scale, ideally gained within a well regarded international or regional firm. A strong academic background, precise drafting skills and a sound working knowledge of FIDIC and heavily negotiated bespoke construction contracts preferred. Regional experience advantageous, albeit not essential.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting and negotiating FIDIC and bespoke construction contracts across infrastructure, power and large scale building projects
  • Advising on PPP structures, including roads, hospitals and education facilities
  • Drafting and negotiating O&M and FM agreements for stadia, industrial assets, healthcare facilities and commercial developments
  • Developing and refining suites of construction templates for government bodies, developers and contractors operating across the GCC

This is a front end focused position offering direct exposure to high value regional projects, close collaboration with experienced partners and meaningful responsibility from the outset. The team operates within a supportive and collegiate environment with clear long term progression prospects.

A competitive tax free remuneration package is on offer, alongside comprehensive benefits and the opportunity to build a regional construction profile within a respected Middle East practice.
