Position Summary:

Nothing Bundt Cakes is looking for a Front-End Developer (also known as a Front-End Engineer or Web Developer) with strong ecommerce experience to build, optimize, and maintain high-performing websites. This position will work on front-end development for ecommerce platforms, franchise templates, personalization initiatives, and A/B testing — ensuring fast, accessible, and conversion-focused digital experiences.

Accountabilities/Duties:
  • Develop, test, and maintain responsive ecommerce websites using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with back-end developer, web team, and digital marketing to deliver site updates, A/B tests, franchise templates and ad hoc requests.
  • Create and enhance front-end pages, blocks and templates within Adobe Commerce (Magento).
  • Create and maintain branded templates in Outfit that align with franchise and brand design standards.
  • Integrate and optimize tools such as Monetate and Contentsquare for AB testing and personalization, analytics, and user behavior insights.
  • Ensure all website code meets ADA/WCAG accessibility, SEO, and site performance best practices.
  • Track and manage tasks using JIRA and maintain thorough documentation in Confluence for development processes and site updates.
  • Continuously improve UX/UI, site performance, and conversion rates through data-driven enhancements.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Experience in Agile environments and CI/CD workflows.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and focused on creating digital experiences that drive measurable business results.
  • Successfully ship clean, scalable, and accessible front-end code that enhances site performance, usability, and conversions.
Education/Certifications and Work Experience Requirements:
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Front-End Developer, Web Developer, or Ecommerce Developer.
  • Expert-level knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS), JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
  • Familiarity with Monetate, Contentsquare, or similar personalization and A/B testing platforms.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, UX/UI principles, and ADA/WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Proficient with JIRA or other project management tools.
  • Working knowledge of SEO-friendly development and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Must be based in Dallas, TX
