Front End Driver

Seeking front end drivers to operate refuse trucks, collecting waste utilizing a route schedule and transport waste to a disposal site.

Responsibilities:

• Collects trash and recycling, from commercial accounts and disposes of them at appropriate disposal sites.
• Makes minor adjustments to and assists in cleaning or servicing of equipment used.
• Conducts routine safety and maintenance checks of equipment before leaving the yard and at the end of the day.
• Maintains records of work performed and submits reports to the Project Manager.
• Performs other essential duties as required to achieve successful operations of the ISWM Program.
• Observes proper safety, and DOT regulations in the field.
• Performs physical labor and any other duty that is required.
• Maintains and inspects vehicles and equipment daily.
• Maintains daily vehicle and route-related records. Reports accidents and incidents to the supervisor.

Requirements:

• 3 years of minimum experience - Heavy Truck driving, equipment operation, waste management.
• Class B CDL State driver's license with the insurable record, DOT Health Card, and Pass DOT Drug Screen.
• Ability to obtain security background clearance
• Ability to communicate and load scale tickets in a system

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
