Front Load Garbage Truck Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Front Load Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting waste, materials, or equipment to designated locations while ensuring efficient loading and unloading processes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, mechanical knowledge, and professional driving skills to support our logistics operations.

Duties

• Operate front loader trucks with precision and adherence to safety protocols
• Safely transport loads to and from specified destinations while complying with traffic laws and company policies
• Conduct routine inspections of vehicles before and after shifts to ensure proper functioning and safety standards
• Assist with maintenance or minor repairs as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle inspections
• Ensure proper securing of loads during transit to prevent accidents or spillage
• Follow all safety procedures related to heavy lifting and operating large commercial vehicles

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the truck types operated
• Proven experience driving front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or flatbeds
• Mechanical knowledge related to heavy-duty trucks and equipment maintenance
• Experience in load & unload operations using manual or mechanical means
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission preferred
• Knowledge of safety regulations applicable to commercial trucking and waste management operations
• Delivery driver experience is a plus but not mandatory
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Physical stamina for long hours of driving and manual labor tasks

This position offers an opportunity for experienced drivers with a focus on safety and efficiency to contribute significantly to our logistics team.

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
