Front of House Team Member

As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the face of the café and play a key role in delivering a great guest experience. You will greet guests, take orders, prepare drinks, and keep the café running smoothly during busy service hours.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with a team, and takes pride in great service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service
• Take accurate orders using the Toast POS system
• Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages
• Deliver food and ensure orders are correct
• Maintain a clean and organized dining and service area
• Assist with bussing tables and keeping the café presentable
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately
• Recommend menu items and upsell when appropriate
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Support team members during busy service periods

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy hours
• Reliable and punctual

Preferred Experience

• Previous restaurant, café, or hospitality experience
• Barista or espresso drink experience is a plus
• Familiarity with Toast POS systems
• Experience working in breakfast or brunch restaurants

Schedule

• Morning and daytime shifts (breakfast & lunch service)
• Weekend availability preferred
