We’re a local, family-owned shop that’s become a neighborhood staple in Summit, NJ. Our team is passionate about great food and great service, and we’re looking for a friendly, energetic Front of House team member to join us!

Position Overview:
As a Front of House Team Member, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, providing them with excellent service while ensuring the smooth operation of the front of the house. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting customers, taking orders, making coffee and other beverages, handling cash transactions, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring our guests feel welcome and satisfied.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Take customer orders and process payments (cash and card).
• Prepare coffee and espresso drinks, including lattes, cappuccinos, and other specialty beverages.
• Assist with making bagels and simple food items to customer specifications.
• Assist with order packaging and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front area, including counters, dining area, and restroom.
• Restock supplies, keep the coffee bar tidy, and ensure equipment is in good working condition.
• Answer customer questions, make product recommendations, and provide an excellent overall experience.
• Resolve any customer concerns or issues in a prompt and professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service and/or barista experience required.
• Friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Flexibility with scheduling, including weekends and mornings.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
