About the Role:
Via Gelato is looking for team members to join our Hospitality & Catering Team!

What You'll Do:

• Serve customers at our Kaimuki shop with warmth, efficiency, and positivity
• Set-up, serve, and break down catered events around the island
• Participate in store upkeep, scooping, cleaning, restocking, and setup
• Educate customers about our gelato, values, and community connections
• Represent our brand professionally at public and private events
• Work collaboratively with team members and management

Schedule & Availability:
We’re seeking team members available for PART-TIME or FULL-TIME for in-store shifts and catered events, ideally for weekend opening shifts.

In-store shifts are as follows:

• 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM (opening)
• 2:00 PM – 6:30 PM (mid shift)
• 6:00PM - 10:30/11:30 (closing shift)

What We’re Looking For:

• MUST BE AVAILABLE ALL SUMMER with no plans for requested time off
• Long-term interest (not just seasonal or short-term)
• Availability and flexibility across weekday and weekend shifts
• Enthusiasm for food, customer service, and learning
• Strong time management and communication skills

Pay & Perks:

• Starting pay: ~$23-30/hr (includes estimated credit card tips; base wage is $14.75/hr + cash tips)
• Catering event pay: $20–$35/hr ($20/hr with a partner, $35/hr solo after training)
