Front of House Team Member

We are a small, lively restaurant looking for a dynamic individual to join our dedicated team. As a small team, we truly rely on each other in delivering exceptional guest experiences by stepping into all roles throughout a shift. In this multifaceted front-of-house role, you will deliver exceptional customer service and support the overall guest experience. The position will be 1-2 nights a week, Friday and/or Saturday, and will include hosting, food running, and bussing, with additional shifts, including serving shifts, as Vietri's grows. Responsibilities:

• Host - Warmly greet guests, check for reservations, and seat promptly with menus
• Food Runner - Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to guests, maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Busser - Support the front of house team by boxing leftovers for guests, clearing finished plates and glasses, and bussing and flipping tables
• Server - Learn all aspects of the menu to answer questions and make recommendations, accurately take food and beverage orders and enter into Toast, ensure guests are happy throughout their dining experience and help manage any issues, upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities, and take all forms of payments
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, bar stations, and service stations in accordance with sanitation guidelines

Skills:

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts
• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings
• Experience with POS systems, familiarity with Toast a plus
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
• Basic math skills for cash payments and comfort with POS transactions

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $3.63 per hour
