At Sunshine Coffee Co, we're all about great coffee and even better vibes. We’re a small but mighty coffee shop and roastery in Lake Elmo, MN, where the espresso is delicious and the smiles are genuine. We believe in making every guest feel like they belong - from the early-morning regular to the first-time visitor.

Who We’re Looking For:
We’re on the hunt for a few exceptional part-time, experienced team members who love coffee and people in equal measure. This could be a seasonal position (perfect for teachers!) or permanent beyond the summer months if both parties find it a good fit. Someone who moves fast, thinks ahead, and thrives in a team environment. You should be the kind of person who naturally jumps in to help, loves a good chat with customers of all ages, and has a sixth sense for what needs to get done. If you're self-motivated, friendly, and genuinely enjoy making someone's day better - this might be your new happy place.

What You’ll Do:

• Chat with customers, learn their names and favorite drinks, and make them feel welcome
• Operate espresso machines and other café equipment with ease
• Keep the coffee bar clean, organized, and running smoothly
• Handle transactions accurately and confidently
• Work efficiently and maintain great attention to detail, even when it’s busy
• Stay upbeat and positive, no matter how early it is
• Make syrups and sauces, energy bites, bake scones and muffins
• Bottle up cold brew, package coffee beans for retail shelves and online orders
• Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of customer seating areas

You Should Have:

• Comfort working with cash and basic retail math
• A proactive attitude—you don’t wait to be told what to do
• Strong communication skills and a love for connecting with people
• The ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods
• Availability to work early mornings (starting at 6am) and weekends
• Bonus: At least 1 year of barista experience (extra bonus points if you know your way around a manual espresso machine)
