Front of House Team Member

Job Summary
Join our vibrant team as a Front of House Team Member, where your energy and hospitality skills will create memorable experiences for our guests. Whether greeting patrons, taking orders, or managing POS transactions, your positive attitude and dedication will be key to our success.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations using OpenTable or similar systems
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling
  • Assist with food service duties including bussing tables, food presentation, and basic food preparation when needed
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all guest areas, including dining spaces and bar stations
  • Handle guest inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive guest relations
  • Support opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and sanitation compliance

Skills

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and transactions
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
  • Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively during busy hours
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and basic food handling practices
  • Experience with serving, bussing, and host/hostess duties in a hospitality setting
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and order accuracy
  • Familiarity with food industry terminology and culinary processes is a plus
