Front Office Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Answer phone calls promptly and handle inquiries with excellent phone etiquette.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized calendar.
  • Process transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and retail math.
  • Assist with upselling products or services when appropriate to enhance customer experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring all materials are stocked and presentable.
  • Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
  • Supervise junior staff or interns as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus.
  • Proven experience in a receptionist or similar role is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse clientele.
  • Proficiency in basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions.
  • Familiarity with sales techniques and upselling strategies is advantageous.
  • Experience with POS systems is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
