Office Administrator - Electrical Contracting Business
Location: Madison, GA 30650
Employment Type: Full-Time (7:30am - 4pm)
We are an established electrical contracting company handling both residential and commercial projects, and we're looking for a highly organized office admin/front office coordinator to help keep our operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Manage phones, directing calls accurately and professionally while maintaining phone etiquette. Ring Central knowledge is a plus.
- Manage incoming office email using Microsoft Outlook.
- Handle all front desk duties including answering inquiries, scheduling inspections and obtaining permits.
- Maintain organized filing systems, perform data entry, and ensure all administrative documents are accurate and up-to-date.
- Handle fleet-related issues and coordinate maintenance.
- Utilize computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) for various administrative functions.
- Support bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks and BuildOps software when necessary, including invoicing and expense tracking.
- Ability to quickly learn new software and adapt to changing processes with flexibility and a positive attitude.
Skills
- Proven experience in office management or administrative support with clerical experience in a professional environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong computer literacy including proficiency with Microsoft Office, data entry, and proofreading skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism.
- Prior experience in construction or electrical contracting is a bonus.
- Comfortable speaking on the phone and providing clear information.

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
