Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Duty Manager to join our leadership team. As a Duty Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction while supporting the team in achieving their goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the hotel during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth operations and promptly resolving guest concerns.
- Supervise and coordinate all hotel departments to ensure operational efficiency and a seamless guest experience.
- Monitor the hotel’s appearance, cleanliness, and functionality, addressing any issues immediately.
- Lead and motivate the team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting collaboration.
- Handle guest complaints and feedback with professionalism, transforming challenges into opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, brand standards, and company policies.
- Assist the Front Office team during peak periods with check-ins, check-outs, and other guest services.
- Conduct briefings and facilitate effective communication between departments.
- Oversee emergency situations, ensuring the safety and security of guests and team members.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound, timely decisions.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus.
