  • To be responsible for Front Desk activities of the hotel to the achievement of the annual budget.
  • To be fully accountable for revenue objectives, organization of Front Desk operation.
  • Trains, cross–trains, and retrains all front office personnel.
  • Evaluate the job performance of each front office employee.
  • Maintains working relationships and communicates with all departments.
  • Maintains master key control.
  • Verifies that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated.
  • Resolves guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously.
  • Updates group information. Maintains, monitors, and prepares group requirements. Relays information to appropriate personnel.
  • Reviews and completes credit limit report.
  • Works within the allocated budget for the front office.
  • Checks cashiers in and out and verifies banks and deposits at the end of each shift.
  • Enforces all cash handling, check-cashing, and credit policies.
  • Conducts regularly scheduled meetings of front office personnel.
  • Implement and maintain hotel policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, security procedures, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with IT to maintain property management systems (PMS) and resolve technical issues.
  • Work closely with housekeeping to manage room inventory and turnover.
  • Communicate consistently with maintenance, F&B, and management to address guest needs.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent preferred.
  • 2–5 years of hotel front office or guest services experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Preferably young and energetic.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • High level of professionalism, diplomacy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management software.
