Responsibilities

Summary of Job Profile:

We are seeking a motivated Frontend Developer Intern with a basic understanding of React.js and frontend development to assist in enhancing UI/UX, supporting order flow on the website, and fixing front-end issues. The intern will collaborate with the backend team and learn to build responsive, user-friendly, and performant web interfaces.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and improving the customer-facing website, particularly focusing on order placement and checkout flows.
• Support the integration of backend REST APIs to enable smooth data functionality.
• Help ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design across various devices.
• Implement basic SEO best practices and assist in integrating analytics tools.
• Contribute to optimizing frontend performance and troubleshooting UI issues.
• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to deepen practical experience
• Participate in code reviews and practice version control using Git and GitHub.
  
  

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA’s) required to successfully perform the job:

• Understanding of CSS and responsive design principles; familiarity with frameworks like TailwindCSS or Bootstrap is helpful
• Willingness to learn about Webpack, build optimization, and version control (Git).
• Interest in testing frameworks (e.g., Jest or Cypress) is advantageous.
  
  

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required For The Position

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of React.js and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with REST API concepts.
