FRONTEND WEB DEVELOPMENT

Are you a frontend developer with a passion for clean, responsive design and intuitive user experiences? Are you skilled in modern web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Vue.js, and capable of integrating with APIs and backend systems? We're looking for a frontend developer to help craft secure, performant interfaces for a range of client and internal applications.

You'll be working alongside backend developers, security engineers, and DevOps specialists in a cross-functional team focused on delivering high-quality, user-centered software.

Must have laptop that supports development and Microsoft Teams meetings. Company will provide the software.

EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in frontend engineering, with a keen eye for UI/UX design and usability across devices. You should be comfortable writing well-structured, accessible HTML/CSS and JavaScript, and have experience using Vue.js to build interactive web applications. Familiarity with calling and integrating web APIs, working in Linux development environments, and using Git for version control is essential.

Experience using cloud-based or hosted coding environments like Replit is expected. An understanding of secure development, cybersecurity, or compliance standards such as ISO27001 is highly desirable, as is familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Docker-based workflows.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Frontend Developer, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing modern web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Vue.js.

• Collaborating with backend developers to integrate with web APIs and data services.

• Ensuring consistent look and feel across platforms and screen sizes.

• Prototyping and refining interfaces based on feedback and testing.

• Writing clean, maintainable code following UI/UX and accessibility best practices.

• Developing in hosted environments such as Replit, and deploying to Linux servers.

• Using Git for version control and collaborating through merge requests and reviews.

• Supporting secure design principles and contributing to compliance readiness.

• Participating in sprint planning, standups, and project reviews.

• Documenting components, workflows, and design decisions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, or related field.

• 3+ years experience in frontend development.

• Strong skills in UI/UX design, wireframing, and responsive layout.

• Proficient with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Vue.js.

• Experience consuming and integrating RESTful web APIs.

• Comfortable developing on Linux and using Git for version control.

• Experience using Replit or similar online/collaborative environments.

• Working familiarity with Python for integration or scripting tasks.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure frontend design.

• Exposure to ISO 27001, NIST, or other standards-based development.

• Experience deploying in Dockerized environments.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Interest in accessibility, performance optimization, and progressive enhancement.

• Experience with frontend testing frameworks and CI integration.
