Job Description

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Early Years curriculum.
• Implement play-based, inquiry-based, and child-centered learning strategies.
• Foster early literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
• Differentiate instruction to meet individual learning needs.
• Maintain a stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
• Support children's social, emotional, and behavioral development.
• Promote positive behavior management strategies.
• Ensure safeguarding and child protection policies are strictly followed.
• Monitor students’ progress and developmental milestones.
• Observe, assess, and document student progress through formative and summative assessments.
• Maintain accurate student records and portfolios.
• Prepare progress reports and conduct parent-teacher meetings.
• Identify and support children with additional learning needs.
• Create a safe, organized, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom resources effectively.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff.
  
  

Skills

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Teaching certification - B.Ed (Mandatory)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Early Years / Foundation Stage.
• Strong understanding of child development principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a warm, caring, and engaging classroom environment.
