In this position...

  • You will lead cross functional, global teams through effective and efficient Field Service Action (FSA) implementation.

What you'll do...

  • Coordination of cross functional, global teams to expedite FSA implementation, decreasing time between FRC approval and program launch
  • Lead team through service part and kit releases
  • Arbitrate cross-functional conflicts and drive issue resolution
  • Monitor completion rates and proactively recommend additional outreach
  • Proactively identify and address roadblocks & efficiencies between cross functional teams, etc
  • Keep leadership appraised of launch status
  • Monitor and ensure all customer notifications support the required timeline
  • Collaborate with facing organizations in the development of service solutions for potential field issues
  • Identify potential lessons-learned opportunities in support of improving future FSA efficiency

You'll have...

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities on a daily basis
  • Ability to effectively lead multiple personalities and styles through both direct and indirect reporting relationships
  • Expertise in WERS, particularly with production, service part, and service kit releases
  • Good understanding of Ford vehicle software release process, vehicle systems and Ford software engineering teams
  • High level of interpersonal skills to effectively lead diverse, cross-functional, global teams
  • Ability to identify opportunities to automate and modernize processes with cutting edge technologies
  • Understanding of vehicle remedy implementation (i.e., service trials, technicians, etc)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of vehicle systems
  • Expertise working with Functional Teams (e.g., PD, STA, VO)
  • Expertise interacting with suppliers
  • Knowledge in understanding and scrutinizing part delivery timings (e.g., tooling timings, shipping timings, etc)
  • Understanding of FSA & OTA processes
  • Ability to deal with ambiguous assignments

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $115,500-$218,100.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
