Pay Rate: $18.50 - $21.80 per hour

Shift: Swing Shift

Job Description:

• Monitor process and perform routine Food Safety and Quality Assurance checks.
• Interface with line supervision and production workforce on production and Food Safety and Quality Assurance procedures.
• Maintain process and Food Safety and Quality Assurance documentation.
• Perform pre-operation sanitation inspection in area assigned.
• Maintain current operation inspections and quality control. Control procedures by updating as new information is given and providing input from the floor for these instructions and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent, college degree preferred.
• Meat or poultry plant experience is desirable.
• Ability to read, understand and implement written instructions & procedures.
• Proficient in basic math skills (calculators).
• Good communication skills and must be able to work effectively in a group setting.
• Ability to work independently.
• Able to make decisions regarding quality and wholesomeness of product.
