FT Nanny for Tribeca Family - 7:30 am-6 pm Mon-Fri- 2 Year Old and Newborn

Full-Time Nanny – Tribeca, NYC
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30/6:00 PM
Compensation: $26–$35 per hour, based on experience

About the Family

A warm, busy family in Tribeca is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their 2-year-old child, with a new baby expected in June. Mom will be home and supported by a baby nurse through September, so infant care will be minimal in the early months.

Both parents work full-time and are looking for a reliable, long-term nanny who can confidently manage both a toddler and, in time, an infant. The family spends one month each summer in the Hamptons, and the nanny will travel with them during that time.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, engaging care for the 2-year-old, including age-appropriate developmental activities, play, and outings
• Support daily routines, including meals, naps, and transitions
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured environment
• Assist mom with the newborn as needed in the early months
• Transition into full care of the infant once the baby nurse completes their contract
• Manage care for both children as the toddler begins a half-day program in the fall
• Travel with the family to the Hamptons for one month each summer (weekday stay, returning home on weekends)
• Provide full childcare coverage during occasional parent travel (approximately 2 times per year for 4–5 days, with additional compensation)

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of professional childcare experience
• Strong experience with both toddlers and newborns
• Confident managing two young children independently
• CPR certification
• Reliable, responsible, and able to commit to a long-term position
• Flexibility with schedule when needed
• Willing and able to travel and stay in the Hamptons for one month each summer
• Excellent, verifiable references

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
