Fuel Dispatcher

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Fuel Dispatcher to join our logistics team. In this vital role, you will coordinate the efficient delivery and distribution of fuel supplies, ensuring timely and accurate dispatching of fuel loads across multiple locations. Responsibilities

• Coordinate fuel dispatching activities by utilizing transportation management systems for pickup and deliveries efficiently.
• Monitor GPS to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining safety compliance.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, vendors, and internal teams via email and our main multi-line phone system, ensuring clear instructions and updates throughout the dispatch process.
• Manage shipping & receiving documentation, including freight manifests, shipping orders, and delivery confirmations with attention to accuracy through data entry and analysis skills.
• Utilize fleet management tools to oversee vehicle availability, maintenance schedules, and compliance with transportation regulations.
• Support logistics operations by coordinating with 3rd party Customers and managing freight schedules within transportation planning frameworks.
• Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, incidents, and delivery statuses while adhering to phone etiquette and professional communication standards.

Skills

• Proficiency in GPS technology, and transportation management systems such as TMW, Fuel Wrap, Gravitate and many others.
• Strong understanding of supply chain logistics, transportation planning, shipping & receiving processes, and fleet management principles.
• Excellent analysis skills for route optimization, data entry accuracy, and problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
• Effective dispatching capabilities combined with exceptional communication skills for liaising with drivers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally while demonstrating strong phone etiquette.

Pay: $48,674.41 - $58,618.65 per year
