SUMMARY OVERVIEW

The Fuel Dispatcher plays a crucial role in coordinating and scheduling fuel delivery to aircraft. This position involves communicating with pilots, ground crews, and fueling personnel to ensure timely and accurate fueling services according to flight schedules. The dispatcher monitors fuel levels, manages fuel orders, and responds to changing fuel needs in a fast-paced airport environment. You will also maintain records of fueling operations and collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate the dispatch of fuel trucks and personnel to aircraft and ground vehicles
• Schedule and manage fueling operations to ensure timely service for departing and arriving flights
• Monitor fuel levels in storage tanks and manage refilling schedules
• Communicate effectively with airline representatives, ground crew, and fueling personnel
• Utilize fuel management software to track fuel deliveries and consumption
• Ensure compliance with airport safety regulations and procedures during fueling operations
• Respond to fueling requests and coordinate emergency fueling needs
• Maintain accurate records of fuel dispatches, deliveries, and inventory levels
• Analyze and report on fuel usage and operational efficiency
• Liaise with maintenance teams to ensure fueling equipment is in optimal working condition
• Provide training and guidance to new fueling staff on operational procedures
• Stay informed about changes in fuel prices and supply chain dynamics
• Implement and uphold environmental and quality control standards in fuel handling
• Assist in resolving fueling-related issues and customer complaints
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Experience in dispatch, logistics, or a similar coordination role
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively
• Basic computer proficiency for managing schedules and maintaining records
• Knowledge of aviation fueling procedures and safety practices
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
• Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
• Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
