Welcome to Love's! Our Fuel Accounting team is looking for a Fuel Inventory Auditor to analyze and audit fuel purchases and sales by loads nationwide to ensure accuracy and completeness on each. Communicate with other departments, stores, and 3rd party suppliers and customers to obtain information needed to verify data on fuel loads. Balance fuel inventory by product and location.

Job Functions:

• Review trends to make informed decisions in order to balance fuel inventory.
• Review load detail in accounting systems and verify accuracy based on paperwork.
• Audit and distribute reports.
• Communicate with various internal departments and external contacts to obtain all necessary detail needed to ensure data on fuel loads is accurate.
• Work cross-functionally with the freight and margin teams to ensure data is accurate.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

Experience and Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Some college preferred
• 0-1 years of accounting, accounts payable or inventory experience preferred

Skills and Physical Demands:

• Hard Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • RightAngle and/or FuelSmart experience is a plus
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing
  • Strong analytical capabilities and critical thinking skills
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail

Typical Physical Demands:

• Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
• Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
