Full Charge Bookkeeper

Olive My Pickle & The Pickle Factory are seeking an experienced and proactive Full-Charge Bookkeeper to take ownership of our accounting operations. This role goes beyond day-to-day bookkeeping — you will help strengthen financial infrastructure, improve processes, and support strategic decision-making as we continue to expand.

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position (40 hours per week) offering long-term stability, leadership visibility, and meaningful growth opportunities within a thriving and entrepreneurial organization.

What You’ll Do

• Own the full cycle of accounting operations, including accounts payable and general ledger management
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Perform bank, credit card, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations
• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
• Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives through financial analysis and reporting
• Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting workflows and systems
• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and maintain audit-ready documentation
• Prepare and file individual and business tax returns accurately and in compliance with all federal and state regulations
• Provide occasional backup support for HR administrative functions as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper, Senior Bookkeeper, or Accounting Manager in a growing company
• Strong hands-on expertise with QuickBooks (required)
• Solid understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
• Experience managing month-end close and financial statement preparation independently
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights
• Strong reconciliation, problem-solving, and process improvement skills
• High level of accuracy, organization, and accountability
• Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
• Comfortable taking initiative and building structure where needed
