Bookkeeping Blessings, LLC is looking to add a Full-Charge Bookkeeper to our remote team headquartered out of Katy, TX.

Job Overview

The Full-Charge Bookkeeper is responsible for all bookkeeping tasks and financial reporting for assigned clients. The ideal candidate has intermediate to advanced bookkeeping knowledge, is highly experienced with QuickBooks Online, has a solid understanding of balance sheets and P&L statements, and has high attention to detail. This role is for you if you are a self-motivated individual who seeks to work on a well-connected team, value integrity and honesty, and enjoy providing support and guidance to help clients achieve their big-picture goals.

While the schedule is flexible, we do ask that at least four hours fall within standard business hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT to support team and client collaboration.

This role is fully remote. We are currently considering candidates who reside in greater Houston, Texas area.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage clean, well-documented books that are tax prep ready, including transaction coding, reconciliations, journal entries, and other tasks to support month-end close
• Process or coordinate payroll and related filings when included in client scope
• Prepare and file sales tax returns and 1099s as applicable
• Support budgeting, cash flow tracking, and financial reporting
• Communicate with clients to gather information, answer questions, and support monthly financial discussions
• Follow internal SOPs, document work consistently, and communicate proactively with team members and leadership when issues or capacity concerns arise

Qualifications

• 3+ years of small business bookkeeping experience, preferably in a multi-client environment
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online. QBO certification is a plus
• Working knowledge of accrual and cash-basis accounting
• Experience with payroll platforms and common accounting technology tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage deadlines independently
• Comfortable working remotely within structured systems and clear expectations

Compensation

Compensation is competitive and will align with experience.
