A small, family-operated distribution company is entering an exciting growth phase, expanding into fuel branding for gas stations. The organization offers a collaborative, hands-on environment with strong visibility to ownership and leadership.

Position Overview
The Full Charge Bookkeeper will play a critical role in maintaining the company’s financial health. This individual will oversee day-to-day accounting functions, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and partner closely with ownership to support business operations and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Maintain and post general ledger entries
• Assist with payroll processing and related reporting
• Prepare monthly financial statements and basic cash flow reports
• Ensure accurate documentation, recordkeeping, and file management
• Collaborate directly with ownership on financial updates and evolving business needs

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online or similar) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of standard bookkeeping practices and financial reporting
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Self-starter comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Ability to thrive in a small, close-knit team and adapt as the company evolves from remote to more on-site collaboration over time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
