Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. This vital role involves managing comprehensive accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting our operational needs through precise bookkeeping and financial analysis.

Duties

  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and applicable governmental accounting standards.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice entry, payment processing, and collections.
  • Prepare journal entries, perform account analysis, and conduct balance sheet reconciliations regularly to ensure data integrity.
  • Manage payroll processing using systems such as ADP, Paychex, or UltiPro, including tax filings and compliance with payroll regulations.
  • Oversee financial software platforms like QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft for data entry and reporting purposes.
  • Conduct monthly closing procedures, including bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
  • Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and supporting audit processes with detailed documentation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in full charge bookkeeping or a similar accounting role within property management or real estate sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or comparable systems; familiarity with Workday, Ceridian, Kronos, or UltiPro is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP principles along with governmental accounting standards where applicable.
  • Experience with payroll management systems like ADP or Paychex and payroll tax compliance.
  • Ability to perform detailed data entry using 10-key typing and double-entry bookkeeping methods accurately.
  • Excellent analytical skills for account reconciliation, account analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of technical accounting concepts including SOX compliance (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), tax regulations, and internal controls is highly desirable.
