Full Stack Developer

1. Job Purpose:

The purpose of this job to design, develop, and modernize business applications by replacing legacy FoxPro systems with scalable software solutions using .NET Core, C#, Azure, SQL Server, and Flutter. The role focuses on full stack software development to support the organisation's shift to modern, cloud-based, and mobile-ready technologies.

2. Key Accountability / Deliverables:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy web and mobile applications using .NET Core, C#, Flutter, and Azure.
• Rewrite and modernise legacy ERP software built in FoxPro into scalable, maintainable applications.
• Develop backend services, REST APIs, and business logic using .NET Core and SQL Server.
• Implement cross-platform mobile apps with Flutter and integrate them with backend systems.
• Apply modern software development practices, including version control, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and maintain complex databases using Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL.
• Create stored procedures, functions, triggers, and optimise queries for performance.
• Ensure data integrity, backup/recovery strategies, and data migration from legacy systems.

3. Job Specification:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 2 or above Years of Experience in relevant field, preferably in manufacturing setting.

4. Skills & Competencies:

• Strong expertise in .NET Core / .NET 6+, C#, and RESTful API development
• Proficiency in SQL Server: schema design, T-SQL, query optimisation
• Experience with Azure cloud services (App Services, Azure SQL, Functions, DevOps)
• Hands-on experience in Flutter / Dart for mobile app development
• Background in software development best practices: version control (Git), automated testing, Agile/Scrum
• Experience in legacy system migration, especially FoxPro, is a strong advantage
