We are expanding our technical team for a project involving an enterprise-grade insurance platform that requires maintenance, optimization, and a gradual migration to a modern JavaScript stack.

Job Overview

We’re hiring a full-stack developer with strong Laravel experience and good working knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (NestJS / Next.js preferred).

You will work on:

• Updating and maintaining an existing Laravel platform
• Simplifying complex backend flows (e.g., reducing multi-step customer journeys)
• Integrating and optimizing external REST API interactions
• Supporting deployments and improvements in UAT/production
• Contributing to the migration from monolithic Laravel → NestJS + Next.js

This is a hands-on role suitable for someone with 2–3 years of experience who can quickly understand existing code and improve it.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance an existing multi-module Laravel application.
• Simplify multi-step backend processes into more efficient flows.
• Integrate external REST APIs (customer, product, claims, payments, rewards).
• Debug issues, improve system stability, and support UAT & production releases.
• Work with MySQL (queries, indexing, data structure improvements).
• Implement clean controllers, services, and API clients.
• Work with Git/GitHub, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and basic Linux server tasks.
• Assist in rewriting modules into NestJS (backend) and Next.js (frontend).

Skills & Experience Required

• 2–3 years experience in Laravel/PHP development.
• Strong understanding of REST API integrations.
• Good MySQL knowledge.
• Experience with workflow-based or multi-step processes.
• Comfortable working with Linux servers (SSH, logs, environment variables).
• Proficient with Git and deployments.

Preferred

• NestJS or Next.js experience
• Knowledge of modular architectures or system migrations
• AWS familiarity (EC2, S3, CloudFront)
• Experience with any payment gateway integrations

Contract Details

• Initial contract: 3 months
• Extension possible based on project needs
• Fully remote
• Flexible working hours
