Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Position Description:
CGI is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java backend development, SQL, and modern JavaScript frameworks (preferably Vue.js). The role involves developing and enhancing enterprise applications, ensuring performance and stability, and providing L2/L3 production support. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions aligned with business requirements.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java
- Develop responsive UI components using Vue.js (or React/Angular)
- Write, optimize, and tune SQL queries (preferably SQL Server)
- Handle L2/L3 production support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis
- Coordinate deployments and releases with DevOps teams using CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure application quality through unit and integration testing
- Monitor application health, performance, and security
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize fixes and enhancements
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and compliance activities
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Strong experience in Java backend development
- Solid expertise in SQL and database performance tuning
- Hands-on experience with Vue.js or any modern UI framework (React/Angular)
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Experience working in a blended role (development + production support)
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
