Full Stack Engineer

We are looking to speak to talented Full Stack Engineers currently based in the UAE with a background in FS/Fintech.

Our client is building a neobank platform that combines modern digital banking infrastructure with embedded AI agents to transform how users interact with financial services.

The platform delivers wallets, payments, onboarding, transaction histories, and financial dashboards - augmented by an intelligent AI assistant that enables smarter, real-time financial experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deliver pixel-perfect mobile applications using React Native + Expo

• Architect scalable backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and Serverless AWS

• Develop core neobank features including wallets, payments, onboarding, and transaction systems

• Design and implement real-time systems using WebSockets and Server-Sent Events

• Integrate payment rails, stablecoin flows, and financial APIs

• Optimize performance across mobile apps (Hermes, Reanimated, FlashList) • Implement observability and monitoring (Sentry, logging, metrics)

• Collaborate with product and design via Figma-driven design systems • Leverage AI tooling to accelerate engineering delivery

• Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural standards

Technology Environment

Frontend: React Native, Expo, Tamagui, Zustand, TanStack Query, GraphQL/REST

Backend : Node.js, TypeScript, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EventBridge, Kinesis Real-Time: WebSockets, SSE, streaming UX

DevOps & Observability : CI/CD, EAS, Sentry, monitoring tools

AI Tooling : AI-assisted development tools, agent workflows, LLM integrations

Candidate Requirements

• 10+ years software engineering experience

• Strong expertise in React Native mobile development

• Full stack TypeScript and Node.js backend experience

• Hands-on experience with Serverless AWS architectures

• Experience building fintech or digital banking products

• Knowledge of secure authentication and financial data handling

• Real-time systems experience (WebSockets, streaming)

• Exposure to blockchain, stablecoins, or payments is a plus

• Comfortable working in AI-augmented engineering environments
