About the Role

Symufolk is building a next-generation robotics platform that transforms human demonstration videos into structured robotic skills. This platform powers internal tools for video ingestion, annotation workflows, human validation of AI outputs, and structured task mapping.

We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Engineer to design and build complex interactive systems that combine machine learning pipelines, human-in-the-loop tooling, and real-world robotics workflows.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working on challenging problems at the intersection of AI, data systems, and product engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement modern, intuitive front-end interfaces for advanced annotation and validation workflows.
• Build and maintain backend services for ML pipeline orchestration and human review systems.
• Integrate third-party tools such as Label Studio, storage services, and model endpoints.
• Design and develop APIs for structured mapping data, including objects, states, Basic Action Sequences (BAS), and Task Action Sequences (TAS).
• Optimize system performance for large-scale video assets and long-running processing jobs.
• Collaborate closely with ML engineers, robotics engineers, and product teams on system architecture and feature development.
• Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, and code reviews.
• Participate in technical decision-making and continuous improvement of the platform.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (16 years of formal education).
• 4–6 years of professional experience as a Full-Stack or Software Engineer.
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript for front-end development.
• Backend development experience using Python, Node.js, or similar technologies.
• Proven experience building data-heavy or media-heavy applications.
• Solid understanding of RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience working in fast-paced, prototype-driven or startup environments.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in a collaborative engineering environment.

Nice to Have (Preferred Skills)

• Experience with video pipelines, streaming systems, or visualization tools.
• Familiarity with ML workflows, computer vision, or annotation platforms.
• Experience building internal tools, dashboards, or productivity platforms.
• Interest in robotics, perception systems, or applied AI.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and scalable system design.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs300,000.00 - Rs400,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
