About the Role

We are building a modern driving school platform designed to simplify how learners find instructors, book lessons, and track their progress.

We are looking for a Full-Stack Mobile Product Engineer whose main responsibility is to:

• Fix bugs quickly and efficiently
• Improve and optimise existing features
• Implement new features and product updates
• Ensure core flows (booking, payments, scheduling) work smoothly

This role is not just coding tasks — you will be responsible for improving real product functionality and ensuring the app performs reliably for users.

Key Responsibilities

1. Bug Fixing & Maintenance

• Identify and fix bugs across the mobile app and backend
• Debug issues related to booking, payments, and user flows
• Ensure stability of the app before and after releases

2. Feature Development

• Implement new features based on product requirements
• Improve existing flows (booking, rescheduling, payments, etc.)
• Make updates quickly based on real user feedback

3. Backend & API Handling

• Work with APIs and backend systems to support app functionality
• Ensure smooth communication between frontend and the backend
• Handle data flow and logic updates where required

4. Payments & Wallet Logic

• Work with Stripe or similar payment systems
• Ensure payments, refunds, and payouts function correctly
• Improve and maintain wallet and transaction logic

5. Performance & Optimisation

• Improve app performance and responsiveness
• Reduce bugs and crashes
• Ensure smooth user experience across all flows

6. Testing & Deployment Support

• Test features before release
• Work on fixes after testing feedback
• Support deployment updates when required

Skills & Qualities We’re Looking For

Required

• Strong experience with React Native
• Experience with backend development (Node.js / Firebase / APIs)
• Experience working with payment systems (Stripe preferred)
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision
• Clear communication and ability to explain technical decisions
• Reliable and consistent work ethic

Preferred (Not Required but a Plus)

• Experience building or maintaining marketplace apps
• Experience with booking or scheduling systems
• Familiarity with real-time features (chat, notifications)
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, etc.)
