Role Title: Full Stack Web Developer – E-commerce & SEO
Location: At least 3 days a week (Mumbai & Ambernath)

Reporting To: Tech Lead & Co-Founder

The Premium Basket is a premium e-commerce brand focused on high-quality dry fruits and gourmet products. We are launching operations PAN India via e-commerce platforms, with global expansion underway.

As a fast-growing D2C startup, we value ownership, execution, and operational excellence. Our technology stack is built on WordPress + WooCommerce, and we’re scaling our digital infrastructure, SEO operations, and automation capabilities to support rapid growth.

What You’ll Do

• Take full ownership of our WordPress + WooCommerce website: product updates, plugin management, theme improvements, uptime, performance, and security.
• Be the Execution Engine - work closely with Tech Leads to make decisions, then drive execution: whether it’s coordinating with vendors, setting up tools, or troubleshooting issues end-to-end.
• Define and follow the right processes — streamline workflows, document how things should be done, and ensure tools, vendors, and teams align with them.
• Support and lead a future Shopify migration, if and when the time comes.
• Collaborate with SEO vendors and implement core technical SEO improvements (sitemaps, redirects, schema, page speed, etc.)
• Monitor traffic and conversion metrics using GA4, Google Search Console, and GTM
• Manage integrations and tools: Razorpay, WhatsApp Business, shipping platforms, and email tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo)
• Set up and maintain automations using Zapier, Make, or similar tools
• Coordinate with our tech vendor for escalations and feature enhancements
• Work closely with the Tech Lead for technical reviews, approvals, and direction
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and design teams

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience in web development or e-commerce tech (preferably at a startup)
• Strong hands-on experience with WordPress/WooCommerce
• Experience or familiarity with Shopify is a strong plus
• Comfortable managing domains, DNS, hosting, and email infrastructure
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP development skills
• Familiar with SEO tools and practices (GA4, GSC, SEMrush, etc.)
• Fast learner with a builder’s mindset, ownership mentality, and problem-solving attitude
