Full Stack WordPress/PHP Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Full Stack WordPress/PHP Developer with strong expertise in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, WordPress, WooCommerce, MySQL, and REST API integrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising websites and web applications while ensuring high performance, security, scalability, and an exceptional user experience.

Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
• Solid experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and jQuery.
• Strong PHP development experience.
• Extensive WordPress development experience, including:
• Custom Theme Development
• Plugin Development and Customization
• WooCommerce Development
• WordPress REST API
• Custom Post Types and Taxonomies
• Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
• Experience with MySQL database design and optimization.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, AJAX, and third-party integrations.
• Experience integrating payment gateways such as Stripe, PayPal, and similar services.
• Experience with CRM integrations and workflow automation.
• Experience in website migration, deployment, and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of website performance optimization, including caching, CDN implementation, and server-level tuning.
• Experience with Git/GitHub version control.
• Knowledge of website security, optimization, and SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with cPanel, hosting environments, and deployment processes.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Laravel or other PHP frameworks.
• Knowledge of React.js or Vue.js.
• Experience with Elementor, Gutenberg, or other page builders.
• Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms such as AWS, DigitalOcean, or Cloudways.
• Understanding of CI/CD deployment workflows.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards.
• Experience with Headless WordPress architecture.
• Experience with multilingual WordPress websites (WPML, Polylang, etc.).

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
