Full-Time Childcare Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curriculum that promotes the holistic development of children, while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards and foster children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
• Create lesson plans that incorporate various subjects, including literacy, math, and physical education.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage appropriate conduct.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns related to child welfare.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share resources for curriculum development.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirments

• 90 Hour Certification
• Americans with Disabilities Act Certification
• 9 Hour Communication Certificate
• CPR Certification

Skills

• Experience working with children in various settings, including daycare, preschool, and/or private school environments.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Classroom management skills that foster a positive learning atmosphere.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
